If you are a trans person living in the UK, we want to hear from you.
Here at Talking Sense, we have spoken about trans rights, policy, and GRA reform many times on the podcast, but this time we want to really tell the story of what it’s like to be trans in this present moment.
We’re trying to elevate the voices of trans people to break through the myths and disinformation, and inform people about trans lives. While we focus on Scotland, this call is open to trans people living anywhere in the UK.
We’d love to hear about
– The experience of applying for a GRC under the 2004 act, or why you’ve chosen not to
– How your think the new GRR Bill will affect you
– Your experiences of accessing (or waiting for) healthcare
If you’re interested in contributing, you can send a 3 to 5 minute audio recording, or roughly 400 – 500 word written statement for us to read out, to talkingsense.ungagged@gmail.com
