Popular coverage of healthcare workers has been as hot and cold as leftover lasagna. From being hailed as essential workers and heroes to being demonized as liars and pill pushers and everything in between, it’s important to remember that these people are human. They have thoughts, feelings, and emotional responses to the crisis just like the rest of us, and today we’ll highlight one such worker’s experience in the field and the strategies being implemented to provide quality care both for their patients, and themselves.
