Glasgow City Unison held a demo at 40 John St entrance to Glasgow City Chambers at 7pm on Thursday the 28th of May. There were a number of speakers including Unison workers & members plus EIS Glasgow LA Secretary.
The reason for the demo was because of the increasing violence directed at all staff in schools. Unison represents Support for Learning Workers but speaker all spoke about how the increasing violence affect all staff in schools; SfLWs, janitors, office staff and teachers. New MSP Iris Duane was in the crowd of supporters.
