A Letter to America: Kick the Gaum Out on his Fat Arse

by Jock Mulligan

Listen now for the time of talk is over and the hour of the razor is come. We are not colloguing about some dusty chronicle or a lesson from the schoolbooks anymore. We are shouting into the wind about a clear and present peril that would wither the stoutest heart. Trump is no man to be reasoned with or kept in a cage until the next election day.

A FINAL WARNING TO AMERICA: JUSTICE OR RUIN

Dear America

I am writing to you from across the grey water and the news this day makes the heart heavy with a greater urgency. There is a whisper going through your halls of power that once the man is finally gone the best thing is to just whist and move on. They say you should turn the page and let the nightmare go dim in the memory.

That is the most wicked lie you could ever tell your own souls.

The Biden crowd tried that trick before didn’t they? They spent four long years acting as if they were walking on air looking down their noses with a patronising and supercilious look as if ignoring the filth would make it wash away. They thought that by bringing back the old ways and closing their eyes to the naked villainy the rot would simply vanish. It was a vanity and it fell flat on its face. By choosing not to hunt down the architects of the rising with the full weight of the law they brought no peace. They only brought a stay of execution for a gang that wants to put your democracy in the clay.

Look at how other nations have stood their ground. When a country faces a coup or a systematic tearing at its vitals they do not offer a hand of healing to the plotters. They understand the Geis. That sacred moral law which says some crimes against the people are so great they cannot be bartered for a quiet life. In lands that lived through such darkness they went after the enablers and the money men. In South Korea they put the former presidents Chun Doo hwan and Roh Tae woo in the dock for their parts in the slaughter. In Argentina the Trial of the Juntas saw the commanders who broke the state held to account. They knew well enough that if you leave the head of the snake on its shoulders it only grows a fresh skin.

If you are wanting the proof of why this man cannot be allowed to walk into the evening without a trial look at this latest bit of posturing over Greenland. He writes to Jonas the Prime Minister of Norway complaining that he was not given the fughing Nobel Peace Prize and because of that he no longer feels any bounden duty to think of peace. He asks after the right of ownership of Denmark over Greenland because a boat landed there hundreds of years ago as if the law of nations was nothing more than a row over a patch of grass.

It is the talk of a man who sees the world as a pile of goods to be grabbed or bullied. He speaks of NATO as if it were a protection racket that owed him a favour. This is not just queer politics. It is the total throwing away of reason and the law of the land. It is the proof that he looks at the American state as a toy for his own pride and his craving for total control.

Because of this let me speak plain. Trump must be removed from power. This is no longer a matter of a tiff between parties. He has become a direct danger to the peace of the world and to the very life of his own country. Every day he sits in that chair is a day where the world is sold off for a whim. To leave a man with that level of venomous instability in charge of the big bombs and the world’s purse is a piece of collective madness.

Trump must be made an example of. The villainy the stirring of the mob and this mad way of treating the world must be answered for in a court of law. And it must not stop with the man himself. The tech bros and the billionaire class who paid for this reign of ruin who cheered while he played with sovereign nations like they were counters on a board must be brought to book. They were the ones who put up the money for the wreckage and they must be the ones to pay for the mending.

If you let him walk away now you are not ending his time. You are only practicing for the one who comes next. And the next one will not be so foolish with his pen. He will be far more tidy and far more deadly.

Never forget. Never move on. Stand your ground or do not be surprised when the roof falls in and the house burns to the ground.

Yours in solidarity,

J. Mulligan
