By voting SNP today, or Green in the English local elections, or our comrades in Plaid Cymru in Wales, you’re voting against everything the sordid, filthy, pathetic Labour Party stand for. Here’s a quick rundown of Labour’s record of shame:
Supported the Tory Hard Brexit
Stifled any progressive conversation on rejoining the EU in England
Has enacted the most regressive immigration policies in UK history
Has disseminated some of the most regressive rhetoric on immigrants by any government in modern UK history
Supported, very early on, Israel’s right to commit to genocide in Gaza (Starmer’s rhetoric that Israel has the right to turn off power in Gaza)
Has continued arms sales to Israel used to carry out genocide
Has continued to provide Israel parts for bomber and fighter jets and helicopters known to be used in the genocide in Gaza, and the carpet bombing of South Lebanon
Has provided key intelligence to Israel allowing them to better carry out genocide in Gaza
Used the RAF to do surveillance flyovers to aid Israel in its genocide in Gaza
Has provided key logistics and allowed Israel to use British logistical infrastructure to carry out genocide in Gaza
Proscribed Palestine Action by misusing the Terrorism Act
Proscribed anyone from supporting Palestine Action by misusing the Terrorism Act in such a broad way as to directly attack the right to support the Palestinian cause and oppose genocide
Has mobilised to define antisemitism in a manner that stifles criticism of Israel and opposition to the genocide in Gaza
Following on from this, has followed the model of Putin by locking up people — including grannies and great-grannies — for holding placards expressing support for Palestine (using the Palestine Action pretext)
Has continued to enact these policies against people even when the BRITISH HIGH COURT ruled that Labour’s application of the Terrorism Act was “disproportionate” and “unlawful”, calling for the immediate release of those imprisoned under these persecutory policies
Starmer knowingly rehabilitated Peter Mandelson despite longstanding public knowledge of his relationship with the world’s most notorious and worst paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein
Starmer defended Mandelson even when new revelations of his relationship with Epstein emerged
Starmer deliberately ignored warnings highlighted during the vetting process regarding the ghoulish Mandelson’s support for Epstein even after Epstein had been imprisoned for paedophilia
I can’t be bothered continuing. Seriously, this has been the most catastrophic UK government in my lifetime. They must be defeated on all levels.
